Chaparral's 18-hole executive par three Ted Robinson designed course offers both a challenge and enjoyment for our Golf Membership.

The Golf Committee provides a well rounded schedule for Team Play Matches, Guest Days, and other special events throughout the year.

Homecoming Tournament:
The Homecoming Tournament, a two day event for members only, kicks off the golf season. It features six person teams, “string” and an oversized cup on the 17th hole, and concludes with a dinner dance and awards.
Battle of the Sexes
The newest tournament, Battle of the Sexes, was limited to 52 couples and an instant sellout. Winners are determined by using the net scores of men vs women. All participants are served a steak dinner. However the loser's steak is a "tube steak".
Club Championships
March Madness arrives at Chaparral when couples, the 9-hole groups, and the 18-hole groups vie for the right to be called the “Champion”. Awards are presented for all levels of play.
Couples Invitational
Members invite guests to compete in this 3-day event. Awards are given for both gross and net scores in three flights. There are great tee prizes, so everyone goes home a winner.
TGIF – Think Golf It’s Friday
TGIF is a popular fun tournament for members. It is a bi-weekly event, November through April. You may sign-up as a couple or a single and the golf pro does all the pairings. The tournament format is always a scramble or a shamble where all players play to their handicap. Each TGIF includes a tremendous sit down dinner and prizes. Come join the fun!
